What are meetings like at SFGH?

Never been to a church service? Find out what our services are like....

Firstly, expect to receive a warm welcome whether your a new or old friend!
Our MONTHLY ALL-AGE SERVICE at 11.30am is for those who want to find our more about what Christians believe. Our music group lead a time of singing, and then we explore topical Biblical issues to find out more about what Jesus taught and how we can become followers of Jesus. Children are very welcome to this service as we start with a 'kids talk', or we will find out more about the speaker in an interview. During this service the children will leave us to do their own activities upstairs. Refreshments are served before this meeting from 11am.

Our WEEKLY EVENING SERVICE at 6.15pm is for those who want to grow deeper in their knowledge and understanding of our creator God. We start with a time of singing led by our music group so we can praise God together and thank Him for every He has given to us and done for us. We often learn new songs, or listen to songs sung by our music group.We then read God's word together and our speaker for the evening will teach us from the Bible and apply it to our daily lives. Afterwards we'l relax over a cup of coffee and cake.

Don't worry about what to wear, don't worry if you've not got a Bible, don't worry if you don't know much about Christianity. Come and find out for yourself!
